The Commanderie de Bordeaux à Newport Beach was established in 2017 and since its initial Parlement and Intronization (induction) of 34 members, the Chapter has grown to its current total of 44 Commandeurs.

The Commanderie - Newport Beach holds 4-6 parlements per year. Newport Beach is proud to call The Pacific Club located in Newport Beach its home club. Each parlement is a wine and cuisine event,  where members and their guests enjoy Bordeaux wines thoughtfully paired with the chef's unique menu creations. In addition, there are a minimum of one education events annually where members gain knowledge and hone their tasting skills and palates,  while learning more about the Bordeaux region and culture.

The Commanderie chapter of Newport Beach falls under the auspices of La Commanderie de Bordeaux aux États-Unis d'Amérique. The Newport Beach Commanderie's local activities are directed and guided by the chapter's commandeur-directors. The Newport Beach chapter membership attracts male and female oenophiles from across Southern California.
